Clothing Consignment Stores in Davis County
I love shopping at consignment stores! It may sound crazy, but I have the hardest time finding things I like in big stores. I love that in consignment stores I can find my size and then be presented with a ton of styles from a huge variety of stores. I can almost always go into the dressing room with a big stack of things to try on. And I love that their prices are kind to our everlasting-student budget. 🙂 These are the consignment stores in Davis County–please let us know if you are aware of any others!
Honey Bump Maternity (Layton)-This consignment shop features women’s maternity and nursing clothing. I was really impressed with their prices–only about $6-7 for shirts and typically $12 for pants. Maternity clothes can be so expensive, so this is a great option to keep in mind! They also carry some pregnancy/nursing accessories such as Boppy pillows.
Second Chance Consignment (Farmington)-I love that this consignment store is just a couple of blocks away from our house! It’s so easy for me to find things here that match my style. Even when we were living in Houston, when we would visit family in Davis County my mom would usually take me shopping here! They carry clothing & accessories for women and little girls.
Kid-to-Kid (Bountiful & Layton)-I think most moms have discovered Kid-to-Kid. Kids outgrow clothing so fast (and my three little boys are so hard on their clothing) that it’s hard to pay full retail price for almost anything. I love that I can get cute clothes here without worrying so much about how much I spent. And they have a great selection of toys and accessories (new & used) as well!
Yours, Mine, & Ours (Bountiful)-The unique thing about this store is that they carry antiques in addition to clothing! They carry a large selection of women’s clothing, including plus sizes. They also have a handful of clothing for men. They also have great sales!
Plato’s Closet (Bountiful & Layton)-This consignment shop is geared more toward the young-adult crowd. I was impressed with the huge selection and great prices. They also have a good-sized men’s section. Pants are $10-20, shirts average about $8, and they had a whole rack of colorful scarves for just $4. Next time we need to buy my husband jeans, I’m sure we’ll be checking here first!
Just Between Friends (Davis County Fairgrounds)-This consignment event happens twice a year and is geared toward everything related to kids, from maternity clothing to bicycles. I LOVE this event! I’ll be posting about it more when it gets closer–the next sale is at the end of March. But check out their website to see what an awesome system it is, or even see if you want to sign up to be a consignor and get rid of clothes your kids have outgrown!
