September 24th, 2016 – Ogden, UT.

The Ogden Downtown Alliance, in conjunction with the Historic 25th Street Association, will host the 15th annual Harvest Moon Celebration on September 24th from noon to 8pm. Presented by America First Credit Union, Harvest Moon is a tribute to supporting local first. The day is made up of local, live music, entertainment, arm wrestling and more than twenty children’s activities and art projects with support from Weber County RAMP, local nonprofits and on-street businesses. Nearly 26,000 people participated in the event last year, with more expected for 2016.

The main stage will be centered on Historic 25th Street at Lincoln Avenue with centralized seating; kids’ activities and food/beverage stations will be mixed throughout both the 100 and 200 blocks. An additional stage will be located at Grant Avenue and arm wrestling will be at the opposing end near Wall Avenue.

Entrance to the event is FREE. A wristband for children’s activities is just $3 and gives unlimited access to the art projects, climbing wall, face painting and more. Community partners supporting these activities include the Ogden Nature Center, Liquid Canvas, Nurture the Creative Mind, Eccles Community Art Center and more. Activities range from a rock climbing wall, make and take craft projects, face painting, and an opportunity to participate in a community arts project.

The downtown celebration features main stage performances by local favorites such as The Johnny Utahs, Michelle Moonshine, Mojave Nomads, The Proper Way and features headlining artists Raven and the Writing Desk. The community stage hosted by Imagine Music features performances by up and coming young local talent as well as cultural demonstrations and presentations. Even the Magical Mysterious Mister Dayley will be making a magical appearance – if he can escape in time!

Food will be available from participating on-street restaurants. Beer and wine will be available at designated beverage stations for guests 21+. Coolers are not allowed into the celebration and will be checked at entry points.

Pets will not be allowed on the street, with the exception of service animals.
