Davis County Easter Egg Hunts
Easter is on April 1st this year but the festivities are starting soon! Below is a list of all the Easter Egg Hunts and Events that we know of. Make sure to let us know if we missed any.
SATURDAY, MARCH 24
Brookdale North Ogden Easter Egg Hunt
When: 9-10 a.m.
Where: Brookdale North Ogden, 1340 N. Washington Blvd., North Ogden
Details: Prizes for different age groups: 0-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years.
When: 9-11:30 a.m.
Where: 2828 Harrison Blvd., Ogden
Details: Join the Ogden High Cheerleaders for the first annual Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt!They will have crafts for kids of all ages, breakfast, crafts, Easter egg hunt, and egg decorating. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under. $1 more at the door. Please purchase your tickets early at the bookstore, online, or any OHS cheerleader.”
Where: Dartside, 1201 N. Hill Field Road, Layton
Details: Hippity-Hop to Dartside on March 24 for an indoor Easter Egg Hunt.
The Easter eggs contain candy and prizes, including gift cards, tote bags and promo items from local businesses. Separate hunts will be held every hour for the following age brackets: 0-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-12 years. There’s a limit to 50 participants per time slot.
This community event is free and open to the public.
Hill Aerospace Museum Annual Easter Egg Hunt
When: 10-11 a.m.
Where: Hill Aerospace Museum, 7961 Wardleigh Road, Bldg. 1955
Details: More than 10,000 eggs will be available for kids to collect at the Hill Aerospace Museum. Kids are divided up by age. The hunt will start at 10 a.m. sharp, so arrive early.
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 1885 E Skyline Drive, South Ogden
Details: On Saturday, March 24, join us for an Easter egg hunt and a delicious brunch at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living. This “egg-stra” special event will feature fun prizes and even a special visit from a surprise guest! The egg hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with brunch to follow. The egg hunt is limited to children ages 12 and under. For more information, call us at 801-475-5111.
SUNDAY, MARCH 25
When: 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Christian Life Center, 2352 E. Highway 193, Layton
Details: More than 10,000 eggs with big prizes will be found at this annual hunt. Ages 1-12 will be allowed to participate.
MONDAY, MARCH 26
When: 6-7 p.m.
Where: Barnes Park, 1220 W. 200 North, Kaysville
Details: “Come join us for our annual Easter Egg hunt! Make sure to bring a bag to collect the eggs! There will be some fun surprises there including princesses, superheroes and games! Non candy items are available to those with allergies/dietary restrictions.”
FRIDAY, MARCH 30
When: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: GiGi’s Playhouse Layton, 471 Heritage Park Blvd. Ste. 4, Layton
Details: “Cameron is doing his Eagle Project and is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt and Dinner at GiGi’s Playhouse for our participants and families to attend. We are so excited for you all to join us. What a great way to celebrate Easter at GiGi’s.”
Seventh annual Weber State Egg Dive
When: 5-7:30 p.m.
Where: Weber State University’s Swenson Pool, Ogden
Details: $5 per child, ages 1-17, free for WSU students. All children under five must have an adult in the water with them. Life jackets are available at no charge. All participants will receive a small favor bag with candy, a small toy and some stickers. Register online at weber.edu.
SATURDAY, MARCH 31
Powder Mountain Easter Egg Hunt
When: 9-11:30 a.m.
Where: Powder Mountain, 6965 E. Hwy. 158, Eden
Details: “Join us Saturday, March 31st, 2018 for the Powder Mountain Easter Egg Hunt! All ages. Eggs will be hidden throughout the Sundown area. Each egg will have candy and 1 free raffle ticket! Collect more eggs for a better chance to win!”
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Fisher Park, 934 S. 1000 East, Clearfield
Details: This event is free to attend and is for children ages 0 to 10 years. Fisher Park will be split into sections based on age, so all children will have a good chance to collect eggs.
When: 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Surf ’n’ Swim, 465 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton
Details: Eggs are dropped in the pool at different depths according to age, admission is $5. Register online at laytoncity.org.
Riverdale City Easter Egg Hunt
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Riverdale Park, 4300 Parker Drive, Riverdale
Details: “Bring your children ages 18 months to 11 years old to come find candy filled eggs hidden in our park. You might even find one of our prize eggs.”
When: 10-11 a.m.
Where: Founders Park, 1904 W. 1700 South, Syracuse
Details: “Alpine Syracuse will be joining Syracuse City this year for a FUN Easter Egg Hunt! We would love to invite all of you, your family, and friends to join us! We are blessed to be a part of this community and we hope you’ll come join in the fun! Bring all the kids and get there early before the eggs are gone!”
Marriott-Slaterville Easter Egg Hunt
When: 10-11 a.m.
Where: Slaterville Park, 250 N. 2250 West, Marriott-Slaterville
Details: “This event is for children ages 1-8, and there will be many eggs and toys to get. There will also be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Bring a camera and come hang out with us! This event will be held rain or shine.”
When: 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Sand Ridge Park, 2075 W. 4600 South, Roy
Details: “Children ages 1-12 may participate. We will have Donut Kabobs Food Truck on site from 9 a.m. to noon. Be sure to ‘Touch a Truck,’ where you can come get your picture taken inside a Waste Management garbage truck! Thanks to Waste Management for sponsoring this event!”
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Marshall White Center, 222 28th St., Ogden
Details: “Ogden City Recreation will be putting out 15,000 eggs on March 31st for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. We will have 4 different age groups. Come out and enjoy a great time with your family. We will have 800 free hot dogs and cookies after the Egg Hunt. The egg hunt will be at The Marshall White Center Park just behind The Marshall White Center.”
Alpine Church Brigham City’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
When: 10:30 a.m. to noon
Where: Lindsey Park, Brigham City
Details: “We would love to invite all of you, your family, and friends to join us at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Alpine Church Brigham City feels absolutely blessed to celebrate this special occasion with each of you.”

Where: Clearfield Aquatic & Fitness Center, 825 S. State St., Clearfield
Details: “The Egg Dive at the Clearfield Aquatic & Fitness Center is a wet and wild spin on the traditional Easter egg hunt. Children ages 0 to 12 years can splash in our pools and search for eggs to redeem for prizes. The Egg Dive will take place in two sessions: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a special Parent and Child Egg Dive for 5-and-under during each session. Details: “Bring the whole family for free games, cotton candy, face painting, bounce house, and egg hunt.”
When: 1-3 p.m.
Where: Town Square Park, N. 4350 West, Plain City
Details: “New Live Northview Church Presents the 2018 Annual community Easter Egg Hunt, Hunting for the truth. Join us for pictures with the Easter bunny, bounce houses, cotton candy, activities, popcorn and prizes!! Everything from admission to treats is all FREE!”
North Ogden Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt
When: 9 a.m.
Where: North Ogden Elementary School Park, 530 E. 2650 North, North Ogden
Details: For ages 1-9, candy and eggs provided for all participants, prizes awarded for children that bring decorated bonnets, baskets or eggs.
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Friendship Park, 5500 S. 650 East, South Ogden
Details: The egg hunt starts at 10 a.m., but kids can get their pictures with the Easter Bunny while parents participate in Easter Bunny Zumba starting at 9 a.m.
SUNDAY, APRIL 1
When: 9-10 p.m., with Easter brunch running from 10:30 am. to 4 p.m.
Where: Snowbasin Resort, 3925 E. Snowbasin Road, Huntsville
Details: “Bring the children up to Snowbasin Resort for an Easter Egg Hunt and to see the Easter Bunny before enjoying a delicious Easter Brunch!” Reservations are required for brunch.
